DAR Advisory Council
Purpose
The DAR Advisory Council is the champion of Development and Alumni Relations’ core purpose and core values, established in 2019. The DAR Advisory Council serves as an accountability partner and drives improvement and change within Development and Alumni Relations.
Responsibilities
The DAR Advisory Council has the following responsibilities:
- Provide a forum for issues, concerns, interests, enhancements and information that could apply to DAR staff.
- Serve as liaison for DAR staff by soliciting and conveying staff opinions, as well as provide input and recommendations to DAR’s senior leadership team.
- Recommend ways to integrate DAR’s core purpose and core values into daily work life.
- Discuss ways to implement DAR’s core purpose and core in the annual staff retreat and end-of-year recognition awards.
- Monitor the relevance and interpretation of the core purpose and values.
